We’ve been hearing from multiple sources that researchers are having a hard time accessing articles stored on PubMed. DeepDyve has been archiving PubMed files daily for years, and they aren’t going anywhere. Our full text open access collection is over 30M articles, plus citations and links out to more. Most people who come to DeepDyve come for our collection of 30M paywalled articles; we always joke to our users that “you can get the open access articles anywhere.” That might be changing in some places, but it won’t change at DeepDyve.
To access our OA collections you can create a Freelancer account. To do this, sign up for the free trial; you do need to put a credit card in to activate the trial, but you can cancel before the trial is complete and still retain access to OA articles, folders, annotations, and our free reference manager.
Good luck with your research.
