Review of 2011

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012
Happy New Year! We would like to thank you for helping us make 2011 a great year. We have had enormous success this past year in improving the breadth and depth of our service to make it easier and faster for you to get the content you want. Here are a few highlights in case you missed them.

  • DeepDyve’s rental service now includes nearly 5 million articles from over 1,500 peer-reviewed journals! In addition, we provide free access to nearly 20 million ‘open access’ sources including PubMed, ArXiv, Public Library of Science, and more. To browse our growing collection, click here or visit
  • Print and download PDF’s! At the end of 2011, we added the option to purchase PDF’s as well as print individual pages. This feature is currently available for hundreds of journals from the American Institute of Physics and Emerald Publishing, and we will be expanding quickly to include these options for many more journals.
  • You can track and follow your favorite journals with our personalized home page. Now, there’s no need to sift through tons of old email alerts in your Inbox, simply login to DeepDyve and see all the latest articles from the key journals in your field. Sign in to see what’s new in your field.

In addition to our standard monthly subscriptions, DeepDyve now offers attractive and affordable Group Plans for organizations of all sizes, where employees can all share the benefits of our service. Our plans are very flexible and easy to implement, and best of all, you only pay for what you use. With our Group Plans, you no longer need to worry about getting approvals, printing invoices and getting expenses reimbursed. If you are interested in learning more about our Group Plans, please contact John Snedigar at:

Looking ahead to 2012, we have many other exciting new developments on the horizon as well as some exciting new partners that we’ll be announcing later this quarter- so stay tuned!

We hope you love our service and help us spread the word. If you know a colleague or friend who might enjoy the service - please tell them to try us out. Let them know we are offering a promotional, no-risk 14 day free trial for new users at

Thanks for your support and Happy Dyving!
